WHAT IS FLEXCARE?

FlexCare has been developed in close collaboration with hospitals since 2013 to meet a range of information and communication needs for both patients and staff during hospital admissions or treatments at home.

FlexCare is designed as a 3-in-1 technology that provides:

• Patients access to entertainment, food ordering with a focus on protein and energy intake, and essential information during hospitalization.
• Staff an efficient communication and patient overview tool at the bedside.
• Therapeutic Support, as part of the patient’s treatment and rehabilitation process, offering options like sensory stimulation, stress reduction, rehabilitation exercises, and dietary intake tracking.

FlexCare is a multifunctional platform tailored for patient care, hospitalization, and home-based treatment, with a particular focus on:

• Patient education and self-reporting
• Patient engagement and reassurance
• Staff access to a suite of digitalization opportunities that optimize workflows and communication.

FlexCare Hardware/Tablets

Available in models TC13, 15, 18, and 21, FlexCare tablets are designed to meet the demanding information and communication needs of patients and staff throughout the treatment process.

Each model in the FlexCare Tablet series is designed for arm mounting, with all models identical in design aside from screen size. These devices are built specifically for the hospital environment, where durability is essential. They are engineered to withstand rigorous daily use, with some models having passed the following recognized tests:

• EN IEC60601-1: Medical Safety Certification
• EN IEC60601-1-2: Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in Healthcare
• EN ICE60068-2-75: Impact Resistance (Hammer Test)
• EN IEC60068-2-6: Vibration Resistance (Sinusoidal Vibration Test)
• MIL-STD 810G: Shock Test

FlexCare Tablets come with multiple connectivity options, including a headphone jack, three USB ports, and a network port with PoE (Power over Ethernet) compatibility. They are VESA 75-ready for easy wall-arm mounting.

Mounting Arms The FlexCare Hospital Tablet Arm is a flexible mounting solution that attaches near the bedside to hold the FlexCare tablet. It is designed with grounding protection and a gas-damped counterbalance that precisely adjusts to the tablet’s weight, ensuring high stability for both screen interaction and easy repositioning.

The arm’s joints have undergone extensive testing with a minimum of 36,000 movements to guarantee durability and stability. All cables are concealed within the arm, creating a tidy appearance and preventing accidental entanglement.

The arm’s surfaces are coated with an antimicrobial finish and are resistant to washing, disinfection, and chlorine-based cleaning. Various arm types are available based on room layout and equipment placement.
