FlexCare Tablet
The FlexCare Tablet is a versatile and innovative solution designed to enhance patient care and communication within and outsite hospitals. Delivered as a tablet mounted on a flexible arm or wall bracket, it can be positioned conveniently next to the patient’s bed. The FlexCare Tablet is available in a range of sizes, from 10 inches to 65 inches, catering to different needs and preferences.
Widely adopted across Danish hospitals, FlexCare Tablets are already installed in over 50% of the country’s healthcare facilities, including some of Denmark’s newest “Super Hospitals”. By integrating cutting-edge technology with patient-centric design, FlexCare Tablets provide an efficient and user-friendly interface for both patients and healthcare professionals.
Features
FlexCare Tablet is designed to meet a variety of information and communication needs for both patients and staff during hospitalization. It’s created to be a 3-in-1 technology, providing patients with access to entertainment and distraction during their stay, offering staff communication and overview capabilities right by the bedside, and serving as a part of treatment and therapy, such as sensory stimuli, rehabilitation, and food intake tracking.
For ease of understanding, FlexCare Tablet can be compared to a smartphone, a smart TV, or a computer: It consists of hardware, an operating system, and FlexCare software, including a range of applications within the system. Data access adheres to all necessary security standards.

FlexCare Content Management System (CMS)
In FlexCare CMS, staff manage the department’s tablets so that the content is suitable for the individual patient or for groups of patients. FlexCare CMS has been developed in collaboration with hospital staff precisely to ensure that it works easily, intuitively and flexibly in the hands of healthcare staff.
With FlexCare CMS, the staff ensures that the patient always has access to the information they need at the bedside; diet order, messages, rehabilitation videos, entertainment, etc.
Integration to existing systems
FlexCare has the option of integrating into the treatment and registration systems hospitals already use. In this way, FlexCare can become the central communication platform for all parties.
FlexCare can be configured with a number of EHR systems, and already today offers the possibility of integration with Epic Min SP and Systematic Columna Cure.
Security
Safety is paramount with FlexCare. The tablet automatically locks down and deletes user data after each session. Alternatively, it can be set up with a personal login that is deleted when changing patients. The system is of course GDPR-compliant and supports the hospitals’ MDM systems.
If the customer uses a different MDM system, PowerNet will seek to find a way to adapt it to FlexCare Tablet
