  3. Limited Patient Engagement: Offers interactive features for personalized care plans and real-time updates to involve patients in their recovery.
  4. Language Barriers: Provides multilingual support for seamless communication in diverse hospital settings.
  5. Fixed Meal Options: Allows patients to order customized, nutrient-rich meals for faster healing and shorter stays.

FlexCare Tablet

The FlexCare Tablet is a versatile and innovative solution designed to enhance patient care and communication within and outsite hospitals. Delivered as a tablet mounted on a flexible arm or wall bracket, it can be positioned conveniently next to the patient’s bed. The FlexCare Tablet is available in a range of sizes, from 10 inches to 65 inches, catering to different needs and preferences.

Widely adopted across Danish hospitals, FlexCare Tablets are already installed in over 50% of the country’s healthcare facilities, including some of Denmark’s newest “Super Hospitals”. By integrating cutting-edge technology with patient-centric design, FlexCare Tablets provide an efficient and user-friendly interface for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Features

FlexCare Tablet is designed to meet a variety of information and communication needs for both patients and staff during hospitalization. It’s created to be a 3-in-1 technology, providing patients with access to entertainment and distraction during their stay, offering staff communication and overview capabilities right by the bedside, and serving as a part of treatment and therapy, such as sensory stimuli, rehabilitation, and food intake tracking.

For ease of understanding, FlexCare Tablet can be compared to a smartphone, a smart TV, or a computer: It consists of hardware, an operating system, and FlexCare software, including a range of applications within the system. Data access adheres to all necessary security standards.

In FlexCare CMS, staff manage department tablets to ensure that the content and design are tailored to individual patients or patient groups, either independently or with our support. FlexCare CMS was developed in close collaboration with hospital staff to guarantee that it operates easily, intuitively, and flexibly for healthcare professionals.

With FlexCare CMS, staff ensures that patients have seamless access to essential information right at their bedside. This includes diet orders, messages, rehabilitation videos, entertainment options, and tools to maintain social connections outside the hospital facility.

Integration to existing customer systems

FlexCare offers seamless integration with the treatment, registration systems, and apps already in use by hospitals. By doing so, FlexCare becomes the central communication platform for all parties, catering to patients of all ages—from children to the elderly—who may feel out of their comfort zones.

FlexCare is compatible with a variety of EHR systems and currently supports integration with Epic Min SP and Systematic Columna Cure

Security

Safety is paramount with FlexCare. The tablet automatically locks down and deletes user data after each session. Alternatively, it can be set up with a personal login that is deleted when changing patients. The system is of course GDPR-compliant and supports the hospitals’ MDM systems.

If the customer uses a different MDM system, PowerNet (our partner) will seek to find a way to adapt it to FlexCare Tablet
